WHAT ARE THE 2 TYPES OF COMPLETE DENTURES?

If you need a complete denture: There are 2 types of complete dentures: removable and fixed. Both can be used to replace an entire set of teeth. Removable: means that you will be able to remove it from your mouth yourself. Fixed: means it can only be removed by a dentist, permanently held in place by implants.

Frequent questions

What is the best way to care for my dentures?

Remove and wash after eating. Clean your mouth if you have remaining teeth, brush them with a soft bristle brush, as well as your tongue, cheeks and palate. You can leave the denture in a container soaking in antibacterial solutions recommended by your dentist at night while you sleep to maintain its shape. Schedule a consultation to ensure that the prosthesis is in optimal condition, also perform a professional cleaning on the dentures and ensure that their supporting oral tissues are healthy.
